CSIRO Verification Services achieves Endorsement of the Australian Paint Approval Scheme in Australia

Verification Services, part of the Infrastructure Technologies group under the Science Connect business unit, has had its APAS product certification scheme Endorsed by the Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ).

In May 2022, the Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ) advised CSIRO Verification Services (CSIRO VS) that the Australian Paint Approval Scheme (‘APAS’) has been endorsed as suitable for the issuance of accredited certification.

Pending CSIRO VS gaining accreditation as a Conformity Assessment Body (CAB; application pending) operating the scheme in the subsequent accreditation application, endorsement allows certifications to be issued in connection with the JAS-ANZ Accreditation Symbol. For product certification, this symbol is recognised globally by all member jurisdictions of the International Accreditation Forum.

JAS-ANZ is recognised as providing the highest level of third-party assessment internationally. Their scheme endorsement demonstrates to our members, clients, and stakeholders that the conformity assessment services provided by APAS meet the highest levels of professionalism in the conformity assessment industry.
