Product Testing

To conform to AS/NZS ISO/IEC 17065 Conformity assessment – Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services – it is necessary for there to be independence between those performing tests to determine compliance and those determining the certification.

There are a number of commercial laboratories APAS specified tests and potential certificants should contact them for all pricing and supply matters.

CSIRO has a number of accredited laboratories that undertake various physical, chemical and exposure tests.

CSIRO Infrastructure Technologies with our NATA accreditation has continued since 1957 as one of the laboratories that supports the industry with services required for APAS certification.
