[19-June-2024]: ActivFire® Updated CSIRO Technical Specification TS-015
An updated CSIRO Technical Specification TS-015 has been published, changes include the testing requirement to Clause 6.10 of IEC 60896-21 and the extension of variant battery models. Please click on the link below to open the document.
[11-June-2024]: ActivFire® Updated Document AF-D003
An updated fee schedule has been published for ActivFire. It will be effective from 11 June 2024. This update involves removing the fee schedule for verification and validation activities to AS 1074. Steel pipes to AS 1074 will be evaluated by CSIRO’s Fire Systems Laboratory as per AN-003. Please click on the link below to open the document.
[03-May-2024]: ActivFire® Newly Published Advisory Notes AN-005, AN-009, AN-010 and AN-013
Four new Advisory Notes for ActivFire and CSIRO Fire Systems Laboratory have been published.
- CSIRO-AN-005 provides information about ActivFire verification and validation of test reports to Australian Standards by non-Recognised Agency for Conformity Evaluation (RACE).
- CSIRO-AN-009 provides information about re-certification of smoke alarms to AS 3786:2023.
- CSIRO-AN-010 provides information about re-certification of Fire Detection Control and Indicating Equipment (FDCIE) to AS 7240.2:2018.
- CSIRO-AN-013 provides information about re-certification Power Supply Equipment (PSE) to AS 7240.4:2018.
[01-May-2024]: New ActivFire® Scheme Website
ActivFire today launched its new and improved website. We would like to advise all to keep an eye out for scheme updates through the news and updates page, and the newsletter page.
Access to the Certificates of Conformity will be through the members centre tab.
[15-April-2024]: ActivFire® Newly Published Advisory Notes AN-003 and AN-015
Two new Advisory Notes in regards to the updated requirements for the evaluation and certification of AS 1074 steel pipes and flexible tube assemblies by ActivFire has been published. Please click on the links below to open the document.
